ABeiramar.tv Capoeira Chnannel comes as the first to look for an audiovisual identity for capoeira, bringing a contemporary way to present its elements and its complexity. Today, it is the greatest reference in Capoeira videos, with more than 2.000 filed videos, and has been watched in more than 100 countries. In this way, it contributes to enhance Capoeira's prestige and popularity around the world.

XANGO CAPOEIRA

Xango Capoeira Group was founded by Mestre Luizinho Barravento in Australia 2011. His group, however, have been operating in Australia since 1997 under the name Zambiacongo which was founded by Luizinho's father, Mestre Geni in Salvador - Bahia, Brazil.

The group's main objective it to Research, Divulge and preserve the Afro-Brazilian Culture. Promoting individual and community values based on Respect, Co-operation and Freedom. Using Capoeira as social integration tool, abolishing violence, discrimination and pre-conception, making friends and respecting all.

Mestre Luizinho leads the group's headquarters in the Gold Coast with branches also in Brisbane, Airlie Beach, Coffs Harbour, Darwin and Singapore. The group has two full time Capoeira studios, one at the Gold Coast and one in Brisbane which is run by Professor Caracol. His father, Mestre Coracao, is a former student of the Great Master Bimba and was the founder o Capoeira in the state of Queensland in 1990.

AMAZONAS CAPOEIRA (MENINO QUEM FOI SEU MESTRE)

Amazonas Capoeira was founded in London by two sisters; Rilene (Vo) and Rejane (Brisa). They travelled to London in the early 1990's as part of a group of performing artists touring the UK. After the completion of the tour the two sisters decided to put their energy and experience into creating their own Capoeira group: Amazonas Capoeira Academy (ACA). Almost 10 years later - Rilene and Rejane have developed ACA into a popular and well-respected institution with students from all over London and beyond. Today ACA is renowned for it's atmosphere, it's friendliness, expertise and the fact that it is one of very few Capoeira groups worlwide that is co-ordinated by women.
